SPAIN | Barcelona Day 2

On our second day in Barcelona, Andrew and I went off on our own to visit Park Guell. This is one of my most favorite places in Barcelona, partially because I love the architect Antoni Gaudi, and also because the views are amazing.

With just a quick bus ride from the center of the city, and then a steep uphill walk, you are at Park Guell.

Park Guell was built between 1900 and 1914. It was originally meant to be part of a wealthy neighborhood, but only two houses ended up being built. In 1926 it was officially opened as a park.

I am in love with the details and the architecture of this Park...

You can easily get lost just walking through the different walkways.

And at the top, an amazing view of the city of Barcelona.

Later that night, we had some drinks with Lauren & JP on their gorgeous terrace. And then we went out for some delicious Spanish food. BTW... that last picture was some unbelievable cheese that we had after our meal. I love Spain.
